Love them! Their lunch combos portions are huge. Super yummy too. Catered couple of times as well, always hot & made on time. Super friendly--- my kiddos favorite take out dinners!

Best Chinese Hot food place in Sacramento! I love all the food, the workers are kind, patient and act like your family there..the food is Fresh! You can smell and look at the Freshness. Chicken chow mein.. with lots of fresh chicken... pork fried rice looks just like the pic.and taste good even for leftovers.. big portions. EGGFOO YON! DAMMM!! BEST EVER! my son ate the gravy by itself..he thought it was Chinese stew.. he loved it.. the EGGFOO YUN!!! SLAP THE CHEF GOOD!

Food is delicious, staff is courteous, the only minus is no inside dining. My favorite dish is the salt/pepper fish.

The honey shrimp is the best thing here. I come back time after time. It is perfectly seasoned, crispy, and tender. The sauce is sweet, savory, and thick. It is very easy to eat, and you can't stop eating it. It is everything that you would want. It's so crispy that you don't even need the walnuts. It stays crispy for a long time. It's fresh every time. Everything else is alright.

Sunrise Chinese Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I ordered a few classic dishes, the orange chicken and fried rice, and both were delicious and well seasoned. The staff were friendly and got our order out in a reasonable time.

I ordered the house chow mein and it included all the tasty and delicious meats of beef, chicken, and even shrimp! The owners are FRIENDLY and their food is great for the prices. The best Chinese restaurant on mack rd come here for good food!

The lady Jao was friendly, smilling and greated us upon entry. I made a point to ask questions, she was willing to answer and suggest alternatives. I even enjoyed speaking about the previous owner and our shared connection with the family. Now I can see why people think they can't communicate with the employees and they may feel a bit standoffish, thats because their english is a little broken, so speaking can be a challenge at times. Original decor (flooring, seats, tables, and wall decor). Takeout only, no dine in; seats are available for waiting. The back kitchen from what I can view is cleaned and appliance are spotless. Ordered 2 different plates and one was not what I ordered. Food appearance looks amazing, taste is satisfying. Overall definitely a memorable experience.

Restaurant is to-go only. It gives Seinfeld soup kitchen vibes like know what you want to order & pay. Don't ask questions. Lol! I made the mistake of asking if they had or sold Spring or Vegetable rolls. I was quickly told No as if my question was completely absurd. Not a Welcoming friendly environment but, nevertheless the food is good & that's exactly why I came. My son told me this place has been in business for years since he waa a young child and his family would order food and enjoy it often so much so that they were on a 1st name basis with the main person or owner. I love Chinese food and haven't found much good authentic Chinese Food in Sacramento. This place may change my mind. I saw a lot of different items that I look forward to trying but, I kept it simple and ordered the broccoli shrimp dish to go. I loved it. Flavor was great, portion size, and cost was all good. I had enough to eat lunch at work the next day. I will go back to try the salt & pepper items, Singapore noodles, fried rice etc. So far so good with this place. It was also a very short time to wait and my food was very fresh & hot.
